Raytek Ti30 High Performance Thermal Imager: Simple As “Aim, Focus and Shoot”

When purchasing a thermal imager, practical performance is a key consideration. Maintenance organizations require an imager that is affordable, reliable and easily operated by plant technicians. It should also have robust image processing capabilities that improve predictive maintenance results.

The Raytek ThermoView™ Ti30 thermal imager enables maintenance personnel to capture high-quality infrared images quickly and easily. Because the Ti30 collects 12 bits of information for every one of its 19,200 pixels, users in the field simply need to “aim, focus and shoot.” With a properly composed, well focused image, any analysis can be performed with the InsideIR™ PC software, in the quiet, comfort and safety of an office.

Palette settings, emissivity values, and reflected temperature correction values are easily changeable after the image is stored in the camera and downloaded to a PC running InsideIR. This allows one thermography specialist in a plant to manage a much larger infrared predictive maintenance program—and delegate inspection routing responsibilities to maintenance professionals who specialize in the equipment being inspected (e.g. electricians and mechanics). The trained expert is free to handle program management, image analysis and interpretation, and report generation.

Find Problems Fast

Unlike other infrared cameras, you can use the powerful, affordable E25 in all types of harsh industrial environments to find faults in electrical and mechanical systems quickly
and accurately. Store up to 100 JPEG images inside the camera for analysis on the camera or after downloading to a PC.

The E25 is the most accurate lightweight, handheld IR camera on the market today. Using the world’s best infrared detector material, vanadium oxide, the E25 sees temperature differences as small as 0.10°C and provides
19,000 picture elements in each image.

The E25 is built tough for hard work in the field and in all weather conditions and industrial environments — a critical design capability. Dust and splash proof, the E25 meets IP 54 standards. Unlike other cameras that might be “lab calibrated,” the E25 won’t seize-up in freezing cold, extreme heat, or other harsh conditions. Its exclusive Ambient Temperature Compensation (ATC) technology assures accuracy under the most challenging ambient temperature conditions.

Download images to your PC quickly and create basic reports with ThermaCAM QuickViewTM software and standard USB or serial cables. Document your findings simply by inserting the JPEG images into your favorite word processing program.

FLIR’s offering its E25 infrared camera at a first-time-ever price of $11,950. Lease for as little as $99 per month!

Mobile Filtration System by Dingo

This new Mobile Filtration System by Dingo is a compact, self contained filtration system equipped with high efficiency, high capacity elements capable of removing particulate contamination and/or water quickly, conveniently and economically.

It is perfect for cleaning up existing systems as well as for pre-filtering and transferring fluids. Remember, new fluid does not mean clean fluid! Most new fluids have contamination levels significantly higher than is recommended for most hydraulic systems.

The most attractive feature of the new Mobile Filtration System is the significant reduction in noise, being reduced from 91 decibels to 72 decibels at full load. Additional improvement include a modular base that eliminates hoses and fittings between components, a drip pan, and easier element servicing through the new patent pending K9 base-ported filter housing.

The MFD dual filtration unit can be used to remove both water and particulate contamination, or for staged particulate contaminant removal.

Typical Applications Include:

• Supplementing continuous filtration by system filters
• Cleaning up a hydraulic system following component replacement
• Filtering new fluid before it is put into service
• Transferring fluid from storage tanks and drums to system reservoirs

Visit the new Dingo Lubrication and Oil Analysis Web Store for details and be sure to request the 20 page catalog while you are there!
