Raytek Ti30 High Performance Thermal Imager: Simple As “Aim, Focus and Shoot”

When purchasing a thermal imager, practical performance is a key consideration. Maintenance organizations require an imager that is affordable, reliable and easily operated by plant technicians. It should also have robust image processing capabilities that improve predictive maintenance results.

The Raytek ThermoView™ Ti30 thermal imager enables maintenance personnel to capture high-quality infrared images quickly and easily. Because the Ti30 collects 12 bits of information for every one of its 19,200 pixels, users in the field simply need to “aim, focus and shoot.” With a properly composed, well focused image, any analysis can be performed with the InsideIR™ PC software, in the quiet, comfort and safety of an office.

Palette settings, emissivity values, and reflected temperature correction values are easily changeable after the image is stored in the camera and downloaded to a PC running InsideIR. This allows one thermography specialist in a plant to manage a much larger infrared predictive maintenance program—and delegate inspection routing responsibilities to maintenance professionals who specialize in the equipment being inspected (e.g. electricians and mechanics). The trained expert is free to handle program management, image analysis and interpretation, and report generation.
