Job Description:
Provide technical and strategic consulting in terms of life cycle asset management implementation and the associated practices, to ensure maximum possible equipment reliability at minimum life cycle cost. This will be accomplished by process mapping and improvements in equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability that optimizes asset life cycle costs.
Must be able to:
1. Facilitate teams through process re-engineering exercises
2. Train and coach individuals on the concepts of Reliability Engineering
3. Perform and teach hierarchy development and criticality analysis for assets
4. Perform and teach RCM/FMEA
5. Develop and coach others to develop Asset Management Plans
6. Create and coach the creation of both predictive and preventive maintenance tasks
7. Teach, coach, and facilitate Root Cause Analysis
8. Coordinate the implementation of the reliability based maintenance strategy master plan
Experience
• 5 to 15 years experience in reliability engineering related processes
• Expertise in one or more areas of maintenance and reliability, material management, planning and scheduling, and/or CMMS / EAM / ERP optimization is desired
• Position requires significant weekday travel
• Must have an understanding of the RCM process
• Must have an understanding of Lean, Six Sigma and TPM
• Must be able to relate reliability to the overall business goals
• Must have an understanding of Asset Management and its various components and organization
• Must have an understanding of condition monitoring principles, tools and application
