Holcim (US) has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Manager - An innovative leader with heavy industrial maintenance and reliability experience who will help shape the culture and direction for our plant in Florence, CO.

This Maintenance Manager, with a drive for strong leadership, team building and communication, will be accountable for these key responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for the maintenance organization in a manner consistent with company values, and ensure alignment with plant and company goals.
• Coordinated approach to preparing all employees to safely operate and maintain a large cement plant.
• Visible leader and unwavering support for Holcim’s safety, health, and environmental policies.
• Key member of plant leadership team whose responsibilities include determining improvement opportunities and setting achievable goals for the site. 
• Management and overall results within maintenance area based on defined KPI´s.  This includes development of area budgets, capital requirements, major maintenance projects and implementation plans. 
• Creating, implementing, and monitoring reliability based systems including preventative maintenance systems, vibration analysis and condition monitoring.
• Create, plan, organize and execute short and long range objectives to ensure continued operational excellence of plant equipment.
• Day-to-day execution and accountability of electrical and specialty mechanical maintenance and reliability functions with coordinated execution for maintenance area.
• Use Holcim systems, such as MAC, SAP, PMA, CBM, etc., to optimize overall equipment effectiveness at the lowest sustainable cost of maintenance.

Position Description:

The Maintenance Advisor leads improvement initiatives targeting leading practice work management in the operations/maintenance work cycles at all Kennecott sites, facilitating effective, productive and efficient operations. The role has significant collaborative aspects that require relationship building with and amongst Asset Management professionals and managers across Kennecott, at other Rio Tinto business units and with Rio Tinto Technology and Innovation Asset Integrity. The position uses leadership and technical/functional competence to influence teams of managers, engineers, operators, and maintainers in support of the work management goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Apply advanced maintenance technical/functional expertise
Identify, develop, and maintain Kennecott maintenance standards such as work order discipline,planning, scheduling, materials management, preventive/predictive strategies, zero-basedbudgeting, etc.
Continually consult with Rio Tinto Technology and Innovation to identify collaborative opportunities
Identify and work with proper outside subject matter experts when needed
Assist in identifying value opportunities, making presentations / proposals addressing quality
Coach team members and support improving organization competence levels generally
Consult with teams of Asset Management professionals and assists with improvement initiatives
Assist sites in program, system, and tool selection to improve work management and value creation
Maintain awareness of all improvement activities and ensure proper integration and cooperation with the other initiatives

Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
An engineering degree is desirable (not required).  Mechanical, Electrical, and Reliability Engineers are typical. 
Experienced Chemical, Metallurgical, etc. engineers will be considered
Extensive technical knowledge/experience (6 - 12 years) in Asset Management positions
Experience with complex problem identification, solution development and action implementation.
Experience in advancing modern asset management philosophies / programs
Certification for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (CMRP) as given by the Society of
Maintenance & Reliability Professionals is viewed favorably
Experience with work management, preventive maintenance, condition based / predictive
maintenance (vibration, tribology, infrared, ultrasonics, etc.), business improvement techniques
(Lean / Six Sigma),
Strong skills in the areas of leadership, team management, and change management/stakeholder
management

Allied Reliability is seeking candidates for the Program Manager position located at the Cargill Corn Milling facililty in Eddyville, Iowa.


This position is responsible for providing communication between the company, clients, and employees.  The Program Manager coordinates activities and schedules work as needed as well as prepares the necessary reports and audits required. The Program Manager will be accountable for the overall safety of the work environment for the crew, including ensuring compliance with Allied, client, OSHA, and other applicable standards, as well as oversight of the Behavioral Based Safety Observations. 


Requirements include:

CMRP certification or certification obtained within the first year.
Knowledge of machinery fundamentals, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, compressors, etc.

• Use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify the root cause to an issue and develop solutions to eliminate or mitigate the issue from returning. 
• Responsible for monitoring and quantifying reliability cost savings, increased production and determining equipment life cycle costs. 
• Must possess the ability to interrogate the business database for equipment history in order to identify improvement opportunities with the assistance of a data analyst who reports to you. 
• Must be all to perform Pareto and Weibull distributions to identify and analyze losses to prioritize opportunities for improvement. 
• Must assist the Maintenance and Operations teams with processes for effective critical spares analysis, PM Optimization and condition monitoring.
• Must have the ability to effectively report reliability performance and verify planned reliability improvement work through field observations.


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree or other technical field.
• 1-3 years experience in the maintenance of mining equipment preferred.
• Experience with Condition Monitoring applications, including: Oil Analysis, Thermography, Vibration Analysis and Ultrasonic Analysis.
• Some travel necessary and a valid driver’s license is required

• Ensure jobs are effectively closed out.  Gather and enter data into systems such as downtime, component movement, oil samples, parts discrepancies, reliability data, etc.
• Manage machine inspections and backlog content.
• Responsible for ensuring work across all areas meets expectations.
• Assist Planner / Scheduler in planning jobs.  Provide insight to machine conditions and assistance in creating jobs’ “Scope of Work”. Facilitate input from maintainers in developing maintenance systems.


Education/Experience Requirements:
• Leadership skills demonstrated through effective teamwork across departments and sites. 
• Heavy equipment maintenance experience combined with experience in leadership of maintenance activities preferred.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance systems.  Should be able to learn systems necessary to manage on-shift data.
• Strong practical knowledge of equipment maintenance and demonstrated job execution skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license

Maintenance and Reliability 40%
• Review all PM and PdM activities and develop an effective PM/PdM program for the department.  Achieve best practice maintenance measures. Apply a proactive approach to world class maintenance.
