EDUCATION: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (or related field) or equivalent.  Advanced degree preferred.

KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of and application of OSHA standards and requirements
Strong PC skills with a CMMS, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point MS Project

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Leadership experience in manufacturing with customer focus in Mechanical and Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance. Experience in Reliability Maintenance including Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and pulp and paper manufacturing experience all a plus. LIONHEART is the premier service center for power systems equipment including; generators, automatic transfer switches, UPS, battery systems and related equipment serving the upper Midwest.  Our Power Systems Division is adding qualified candidates to perform preventive maintenance and corrective actions on a broad spectrum of UPS sizes and manufacturers.  Candidates will be responsible for complicated maintenance and service activities on Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS) and associated equipment including; batteries, power distribution units and maintenance bypass switches.

Successful candidates will perform tests, inspections and evaluate uninterruptible power (UPS) supplies.
Perform field service functions of preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance
Perform installations, commissioning/start-ups and training
Conduct battery testing, replacement, installation and disposal
Promote and execute service contracts
Maintain detailed records of equipment serviced
Travel throughout service designated territory

Skills required:
- Familiar with UPS topologies, application and installation requirements
- Have developed competencies in single and three-phase equipment

Under close supervision, the Maintenance Mechanic performs limited or routine preventative maintenance duties and repairs of Utility and Facility equipment and systems as assigned, and assists skilled mechanics in performing maintenance duties.

Essential Job Functions:
• Performs preventative maintenance on all minor and major pieces of equipment related to Utilities and Facility
• Performs daily testing of boiler water and soft water systems; troubleshoots and repairs steam and hot water equipment
• Troubleshoots and repairs utility and facility equipment and/or systems including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic circuits (motors, pump, compressors, boilers, chillers, and water system)
• Performs basic building and equipment repairs using hand tools, power tools and basic electric multi-meter skills
• Assembles basic components from supplied instructions or drawings
• Performs basic maintenance of non-critical equipment using lubrication utilizing oil or grease pumps/guns, replacing and adjusting drive belts, replacing filters, replacing lights, light pipe fitting and replacing mechanical parts supplied original manufacturer parts
• Picks-up ordered parts or suppliers and restocks parts or supplies

Job Summary:
Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and executing major reliability projects at either the asset or corporate level with a strong focus on improving work processes, safety, reliability, and environmental considerations.  Provide front end loading, project execution, project reconciliation, training, and coordinate with various groups to ensure the success of the project.  Developing processes & procedures for systems that comply with federal & state regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Performs complex technical work to develop and implement reliability CMMS systems (Maximo & Mobile Maximo), implementation training, and the optimization of work processes. Responsible for overall project cost and schedule. Develops project scope, accurate cost estimate, project time line, and identifies critical equipment & resources. Interfaces with Commercial, IT, Materials Management, Accounting, Environmental, and Operations on input/ideas on project related to scope, cost estimate, process design, implementation and timing. Evaluates the schedule throughout project and makes appropriate adjustments to ensure completion deadline is met for project. Analyzes actual project costs and compares to budgeted project costs. Communicates with management and project team on progress, issues, risks, costs, and schedule impacts.

Directs the further development of Maximo and maintenance work processes that will reduce paperwork management, reduce administrative burden, increase productivity and decrease maintenance costs by integrating DEFS client applications through Mobile Maximo.  The integration of daily field log data, auto-populating AMS, KMS, PODS, etc. by streamlining work processes.

Develops and directs CMMS training and trainers.  Training DEFS
employees in the effective use of the CMMS tools that will result in higher productivity, efficiency and higher online time.

Post project support through facilitating the optimization of preventive maintenance and maintenance work processes. Maximizing the use of mobile technology to increase productivity, asset efficiency and increased equipment online time.

Basic Qualifications
* Minimum of five (5) years of relevant project management
experience.
* Demonstrated background of computer hardware and software
development, design, and implementation.

Desired Qualifications
* Previous leadership or supervision work experience.
* Previous experience as a project manager in the Oil and Gas
Industry.
* Strong background in optimizing work processes through the use
of enterprise computer technology.
