The Operations Excellence Specialist will utilize leadership, operations management experience and communication abilities to implement key work processes and process improvement tools at all GP Manufacturing facilities. These projects will require the Operations Excellence Specialist to establish implementation teams; teach work processes; adapt to new training methodologies; align work processes to match facility needs; roll-out work processes and process improvement tools across an entire manufacturing facility; provide on- site support; establish long- term measures and tracking. Implementation at a facility is typically a three to four month project, with follow up assessments on an annual basis. The Operations Excellence Specialist will also be the work process expert for the Division and will work with all facilities to maintain the use and value of the work processes. The position is located in Atlanta, Georgia, and requires 80% travel. Excellent opportunity to learn and grow with an innovative team and to gain knowledge of the GP Manufacturing business.

EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering.

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of Operation Excellence Program Tools and Processes, Knowledge of Operations and Maintenance

SKILLS:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Minimum 3 years experience in Operations or Operations Management.
Willing to travel up to 80%
