NATURE AND SCOPE:
Make day to day changes to Honeywell/Triconex control system such as: schematics, groups, points, programs, logic blocks, etc. as required by work orders or management request. All work is done according to ATOFINA La Porte Management of Change Policy. This includes documentation of P&I drawings, loop sheets, and associated Honeywell/Triconex system documentation. Backup all software changes to ZIP Discs cartridges, as implemented; a complete system backup (including pictures, history modules, network, areas and points) every three months with a copy sent to Corporate. Provide design assistance to Process Engineers in all projects involving the Honeywell/Triconex system. Provide control loop troubleshooting to Process Technicians, Engineers and I&E Technicians including field instrumentation. Responsible for all Honeywell software upgrades including purchasing and installation of necessary hardware. Write Pascal Programs to collect process data from Honeywell system to a personal computer and maintain a set of backup data on tapes. Establish deadlines and priorities for all control systems changes and additions.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years Honeywell/Triconex Process Control Systems experience maintaining a Honeywell TDC 3000/Triconex system with hardware and software experience.

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide resources to power plants to develop and administer a comprehensive predictive maintenance program. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: establish and administer Predictive Maintenance programs at each of the power plants based on their individual needs. These programs should use all available technologies to help achieve improved reliability, such as vibration monitoring and analysis, balancing, thermography, motor diagnostics, alignment, oil analysis, UT flaw detection, eddy current, and other NDE methods. Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and six years of related experience including experience in industrial plant environment operating or maintaining rotating equipment. Possession of Level I Vibration Analysis certification is preferred and may be substituted for up to three years of the experience requirement. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science may be substituted for up to six years of the above experience requirement. Regardless of substitutions, must have at least two years of directly related experience.
